Vusimalo is more than a company — it is the culmination of a friendship and shared vision that began three decades ago. Co-founders Vuyani Sifiniza and Mark Lotter met as teenagers at Zonnebloem NEST High School in Cape Town (1993–1996), where their bond was shaped by a common passion for leadership, community, and a belief in Africa’s potential. Both went on to study abroad in the United States, gaining global exposure and professional experience across sectors including sustainable development, governance, communications, and corporate leadership. Despite their international careers, their shared dream was always to return home and contribute meaningfully to South Africa’s renewal.

Vusimalo embodies this return: a Pan-African holding company rooted in friendship, trust, and long-term commitment to making a difference. By bringing global perspectives back to African soil, Vuyani and Mark aim to plough back into communities, unlock opportunities, and shape ventures that leave a lasting legacy for future generations. “Building
